You know the science behind climate change and have seen its current and future impacts. You've heard about our international climate targets and know the solutions are out there so what we need now is for you to take leadership and implement these solutions.

WE WANT YOU TO KEEP TAKING SIMPLE STEPS EVERYDAY IN THE WAYS YOU

  • Eat: less meat, grow your own food, buy local as much as possible.
  • Travel: by car, bike, public transit, carpool, vacation close to home.
  • Buy: less things, used items, buy local and unpackaged items, repair broken items, recycle.
  • Power: turn down your thermostat, unplug electronics you’re not using and just use less energy.

WE ALSO WHAT YOU TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE

  • Talk about what is happening to our planet, how you are being impacted and the things you are doing to create change.
  • Listen to other people’s climate change stories.
  • Encourage friends and family to explore what they can do about climate change.
  • March with other students to show politicians how many young people care and that they need to do something about it.
