INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE

One of the biggest ways we can make waves on climate action is to share climate stories in ways that will catch people's attention. By using video, writing, art or music, we want you to get your creative juices flowing and tell the people in your school, neighbourhood and across Canada about climate change and why it is one of the most important issues of our time.

CHALLENGE

Creatively communicate to Canadians on one of these three topics:

Climate Science

Explain the science of climate change and why it is happening.

Local Impacts

Describe how climate change is having an effect on your local area.

Solutions

What actions are you taking to combat climate change?

HOW TO ENTER

Your creations will be judged by a panel of POW Athletes and Science Alliance Members

DEADLINE

Send your submissions to by June 1st 2021.

Please include your name, grade and school in your email.

PRIZE

The top 5 get their submission featured on POW Canada and Hot Planet Cool Athletes social media, the top 3 will be published in
Alternatives Journal and the overall winner will receive a $500 cash prize and be integrated into POW’s Retail Program to have their work featured in POW partner retail stores across Canada.

Winners will be notified by June 15th each year.
